WHAT INFORMATION IS COLLECTED
In order to enhance your user experience and improve the Service, Groople collects information about you from two sources: (i) information you affirmatively give to Us; and (ii) information automatically collected when you visit any of the Groople Websites or use any Services.
INFORMATION YOU GIVE US
To use certain aspects of the Service you will need a Groople Account (“Account”). When you create an account, We will ask for certain identifiable information, including but not limited to your name, gender, email address, date of birth, and a password, which is used to protect your Account from unauthorized access. After setting up an account, you have the option to provide (and store in your Account) additional information, such as your telephone number, credit card information (credit card number, expiration date, and billing address), and information about you and/or your group members, i.e. the group members’ email addresses and credit card information.
In order to book a reservation, We require that you provide Us with certain information about you and/or your group members. This may include names, e-mail addresses, phone numbers, and credit card information, such as credit card numbers, credit card verification numbers, expiration dates, and billing addresses. Most information collected is required to complete the transaction; however, some information may be optional. Each time We ask for information, We will clearly indicate whether such information is required or not.
It is your sole responsibility to obtain consent from the group members to use their names, email addresses, and credit card information before you provide their information to Us.
INFORMATION WE COLLECT AUTOMATICALLY
In addition, Groople automatically collects information about your interactions with the Groople Websites and the Service. For example, Groople may log information from your computer and browser, such as your IP address, profile information, aggregate user data, browser type, software and hardware attributes, pages you request, and cookie information.
Groople may use third-party service providers to help Us gather and analyze this information about Our customers. These service providers are contractually restricted from using your information in any way, other than in helping Groople provide you with the products and services that are available on Our website.
HOW INFORMATION IS USED
Groople uses the information it collects from you to deliver Groople services to you and to continuously enhance your user experience. Generally speaking, We use the collected information to communicate with you, fulfill your requests, customize the content, improve Our products and services, protect Our and your rights, and comply with laws and regulations.
We use the information you provide Us to do all of the following including, but not limited to:
- We will use the membership information you provide to identify you when you log in to the Groople Websites. We may also use the information stored in your Account to help you book reservations faster and easier by pre-populating your information for you whenever possible.
- We will use the purchase information you provide to facilitate the transaction process. We will share that information with third parties involved in the transaction, such as vendors (e.g., hotels), travel intermediaries (e.g., tour operators), and transaction-processing companies (e.g., credit card companies).
- We will use the information collected when you contact Groople (e.g., name, e-mail address, phone number) to respond to your request.
- We may use information collected automatically to analyze visitor trends, gather broad demographic information, understand how users are moving throughout the site, and offer customer support. We may also use that information, and/or associated membership information, to determine the content We will provide to you on this site.
- We may occasionally ask trustworthy third parties to provide services for us, such as marketing analysis of the data we collect on this site. In that event, we may share membership or transaction information with that trusted third party. In all such cases, the third party will only have access to information necessary to perform the required service, and will not be permitted to use that information for any other purpose.
WITH WHOM IS INFORMATION SHARED

To the extent it is necessary for these third parties to complete their contractual obligations to us, these third parties may have access to or process your personally identifiable information. Generally, these disclosures are made under terms comparable to this policy, and the recipients are limited to using the information the purpose for which it was provided. By making a reservation through the Service, you are authorizing Us to disclose to third parties the information required to complete the booking and deliver the related travel. Third-party vendors have access to and may collect information only as needed to perform their functions and are not permitted to share or use the information for any other purpose. They are also required to follow the same data security practices that We ourselves adhere to.
Under narrow circumstances, Groople may disclose your personal information without asking for your consent to protect the legal rights of Groople or Our afifliates, and each of their respective investors, directors, officers, employees, agents, and suppliers; to protect the safety and security of users of the Service or to enforce Our Terms of Services; to protect against fraud or risk management purposes; or to comply with or respond to the law or legal process or a request for cooperation by a government entity, whether or not legally required.
